Is my laptop screen knackered?

Warm orange tint on the scree, if I push the screen as far back as it can go, it turns very orange. If I pull the screen towards me it changes to a 'standard' colour. Connect it to the TV via HDMI, warm orange tint also shows on the TV - which would make me believe it's not the actual laptop screen?

I'm confused as fuck. Shall I just headbutt it?

Sounds like you have something like f.lux on your computer which makes the screen go more orange in the evenings,have a look at what programs you have or set fire to it

Hahahah, oh fgs! I completely forgot I downloaded some program @Damocles posted about this morning. Thank you! Just quit that program. Screen's back to normal, no need to headbutt it.

I have f.flux but i can't get it to make my screen orange lol

Is it a hp lappy ? they are well known for shitty layouts for the mobo resulting in exhausted hot air recirculated directly over the gpu.

If you are not confident taking a lappy apart ask a mate or see what cost is to have it re pasted.
