Is now the time to consider Mancini's tenure at the club

So name a name Dave. Take the plunge and say who you want in.
Everyone knows I favour mourinho. But there are a good number I'd have ahead of Mancini.

This is what I don't get I can understand wanting Mourinho but everyone else are not proven in premier when we already have a proven manager

for what its worth i think Mourinho or Pep would win us the league next year but id fancy Mourinho to do better in CL so id go for him,

Well I don't want to go round in circles mate but he's pretty much a proven failure in Europe, and the league form has been patchy for a long long time.

He has proved he is limited in his efforts to make further progression and,if you didn't know, there is life outside the Premiership, however, given our displays, you'd be forgiven for not realising.....

Yeah I agree but I believe Mancini will put it right because he is proven he can, also your forgetting apart from Mourinho premiership wise is the bread and butter and any other manager will be a bigger gamble than sticking with Mancini...

I think Mancini is good, bar a couple of things. Fast counter attacks is missing a bit i think. He should allso not criticize players in public. Never. But i mostly enjoy what i'm seeing on the pitch. I hope you lads win the league, then perhaps Mancini will get another chance in Europe.
The fast counter-attacks stopped when teams changed tack 12 months ago after our big wins at Spurs and Man Utd

the ability to do it is still there - see our 1st goal at Norwich yesterday, but sadly most teams sit very deep against City and you get a slow build-up and we're reliant on one twos and one on one skill from players like Silva and Nasri to open up teams

I feel City are as strong as last season, but we are fighting against the odds versus Man Utd.

Saving me the bother Dave - once again exactly my thoughts.........Mourinho and City were always made for each other - both as mad as a box of frogs! Bring it on.

Teams have been putting 10 behind the ball against man united for 20 years and they structure their game around it- mainly utilising width and overlaps. We have no recognisable strategy when faced with a resolute, deep team except to keep plugging away in increasing desperation.
