Is our cycle of dominance coming to an end?

We're already on our way to fully addressing last seasons problems. We have acquired a fast winger to push teams back and an CB with pace.

Lyon was a one off.

Lyon wasn’t remotely a one off. It was a virtual carbon copy of defeats in the preceding weeks to Southampton, Chelsea and Arsenal, and earlier ones to United, Wolves and Spurs

You cannot lose 9 games anymore and win the title and Pep knows this.

We need a much harder edge and reduce being exposed especially on the break if we are to make a better fist of it this year simple as.

Absolutely right .... only ONE club has won the Premier League and lost MORE than SIX games .... and that was Blackburn Rovers back in the mid 90's, who managed to lose seven games!

Not if we spend properly on players that will improve the first team every season, no fucking about penny pinching and refusing to stump up for players even if Pep has identified them as must haves.

I'm non too sure how much input PEP even has into transfers any more, to be honest ..... he's a top manager, that goes without saying , but does he REALLY think he can win the Champions League , or even the title , with signings like Ake and Torres ??

It remains to be seen if a slightly above average defender from a relegated team that conceded a shedload of goals , and a promising young spaniard with no Premiership and little European experience, can actually IMPROVE us , but I suppose Pep knows best ... it's his neck that's on the line after all!
