Similar to Cruyff at Barca, his legacy still exists 30 yrs later, Pep is a progressed version of his tenure, hopefully coaches like Arteta can fill similarly fill the voidThere isn't another manager in world football whose teams are so readily identifiable and vastly different than Pep's.
That is what sets him apart. Long after he has gone.
He provides a core heartbeat and legacy, not a fly by night which will be gone with the passing of a torch.
This all day long.Pep's won 6 of the last 7 domestic trophies, breaking about 27 Premier League and/or top flight all-time English records.
And people bang on about money but we've spent less than Fulham in the past year.
He's taken more points and won more games in a season, than anyone else in English football.
He's done the only ever domestic treble.
He's set the longest winning run in English top flight history.
He's scored the most goals in a season of any English side ever.
Could go on and on with his achievements but not enough time or space...
Yes, he's the greatest.
I can only really comment on City managers, because they are the ones I’ve watched at close quarters throughout their tenures. Obviously you see the way the team play but also you see the interviews, the way fringe players are treated, the subs, the tactical changes, the morale in the squad...everything.
Pep is ten times as good as anybody we have ever had.
