This is probably true, as I dont know any other City fans, I don't know anyone who properly loves movies, no one who runs, and I certainly don't know any adult Lego lovers hahaWhy is it sad? Its just a different way to stay in touch, communicate, socialise and educate. Its a way to bring like minded people together.

I don't think so. I used to use Usenet before the forums.
The only way I used to hear opinions before that was either down the pub, talkSPORT or people writing to Ceefax etc
