Rented there around the mid90's for a year or so. Full of fucking rags, and Patricroft/eccles was like the 'upside down' on stranger things.But Eccles does have Monton. Full of Salford’s finest paying 5 quid a pint. Except for the Park Inn

lived there in the late 90's had a flat facing cemetary on clough dr was there about 3 years,used to be good for a piss up but it seemed to go rough & some pubs shut down,don't get over as much these days but its good to see places opening instead of closing,fuck only knows who thought it would be a good idea to narrow Bury new rd though.....

Prestwich was my haunt mid 80s through to mid 90s. It was always just about the ‘poshest’ spot in North Manchester and people called it the ‘Didsbury of North Manchester’ even back then. Always had a bit of an edge, but if you stayed in the right pubs (i.e. Holts) you avoided the mither by and large.
Salford scrotes tried ruining it around the time I moved away, but glad to see it’s doing well nowadays. Get to Manchester once a year or so, but not been down Prestwich for about 10 years.
