I can't believe the people having a problem with Tevez - if my family were far away through any circumstance at all that would mean I could only see them every month or so I'd hand in my notice tomorrow, no question.

He's a true professional, he didn't decide he wanted to leave yesterday, he'd been feeling the pain for months and yet he kept giving his all on the field and banging in the goals where it mattered. I for one, have no problem with him coming back and doing what he does best again, until we can work out a solution that fits all parties.
I care more about Manchester City than the well-being of Tevez's bell-end. I make no apologies for that as a City fan. What branch of Tevez's Schlong OSC are you from? Do you get tickets to watch him play away from home?

Fuck Tevez.

Oh,ffs - grow up.
He has been our most prolific striker since he came, and nobody could ever question his work rate.
He was instrumental in our third place finish, and our cup success.
His child nearly died - is it any wonder he wants to spend more time with his kiddie?
Folk often line up on here to call for the execution of parents who don't give a shit about their offspring, yet when Carlos shows he cares, you nail him to the wall.
Personally,I hope he stays, because I think we are a better squad with him in it.
But if he goes, then I would thank him for what he has done for the club, and wish him and his family every happiness for the future.

Once again IF he wanted to be close to his family he would have gone to see them when given time off, IF he wanted to be close to his family his family could settle in sardinia which is a 2 hr flight away, IF he wanted to be close to his family the corinithians move could have been put forward with much less than 4 days to sort he is close to kia and kia is close to corinithians.

IF he wanted to be close his family he would be supported in that as he has been by city with time off etc to see them does anyone actually believe that this is the case. IF family means so much to him he is a very wealthy man he could retire from football and stay with his family.

NF I understand your point and I wont go so far as to say Fuck Tevez i just dont believe what he has to say its all about the money.

so you would forego £600,000 per month (average £150,000 per week)cos you only saw your family once a month ?? yeah right.

Tevez will retire before hes 35 ( thats 30 years earlier than the rest of us) and the money hes making now will be more than enough to give him and his family a dream lifestyle for the rest of their lives...

Now id forgo time away from my family if that was the final result..what about those in the Armed forces 3 months/6months away at a time and a risk of not even coming home ever..And all for less than Tevez earns in a month..

Wow great comparison! There as different as chalk and cheese mate so comparing the two scenarios is complete and utter nonsense. I dont hold anything against Tevez. He has stated why he wants to go and very nearly went "back home" to be near his family. All this bollocks about "oh he can retire at 30 so he can then spend time with his family". That means that his kids will be 9, thats 9 years of their life he has missed out on - something money cant buy. Any normal human would want to be near their family and thats what he is trying to do.

His family lived in the UK until he got caught out, yes as a parent he would like to be with his kids but the reality is different. Consequences will always follow a mistake but this is becoming a fiasco, fantastic footballer, one of the best ever to pull our shirt on but he seriously needs to man up to himself and his agent

I hope he does come back. I know most people on here wont agrre with me but that's how I feel. He's been brilliant for City and long may it continue. He's good at his job, I work with some people that I can't stand but they too are good at their jobs. It's just the nature of the beast. I also work with a shed load of people who want to work else where

i can't be doing with the little twat, i fucking hate mard arses that have fuck all to worry about, he's only in the shit cos he dipped his wick, we are left to tidy up after him.
all that said the thought of tevez and agureo leading our attack makes me drool, if only till the jan window, we'll 10 points clear by then.

simple quesion, is Tevez back Thursday?

Not so simple. He's supposed to report back on Thursday, he's said that he's not coming back to Manchester. If he doesn't report back he's in breach of contract.

Make of that what you will.
when did he say that?

Came out in papers on 4th/ 5th June
<a class="postlink" href="http://www.caughtoffside.com/2011/06/05/carlos-tevez-hates-manchester-im-never-going-back-to-the-city/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.caughtoffside.com/2011/06/05 ... -the-city/</a>

He came out with this Susana Gimenez show in Argentina 02/06/11, supposedly that's the same one where he says there's only 2 restaurants in Manchester. I don't speak Spanish but the interview is posted numerous times on Youtube.

You been hiding under a rock this summer pal? ;-D

yay turning up with a face like slapped arse. silva outstretches arms..tevez just walks on by with kia arm in arm :)

The thing is, if Tevez wouldn't have been nobbing another bird behind his Mrs' back then none of this would have happened. You can't deny his footballing ability but I don't want him here when the club has bent over backwards for him time and time again only to have it thrown back in our faces. He's going to be leaving a legacy behind but for me that legacy will always be overshadowed by his 2 transfer requests and slating of board members in public. He's a great footballer but jesus he's a thick twat
