the champions league represents everything that is wrong in football, an extended fixture list with one intention, to make money.
i crave the old days of 3 euro competitions and straight knock out.
still when i am 80 i can tell the grandkids i watched city at 100's of stadiums, and the highlight was 2011 when we finished 4th and city got a cheque for 30 million, it enabled our multi millionaire footballers to earn even more money, and the chance for our club to up the ticket prices under the guise of, if you want to see the top players you must expect to pay for it.

I'd rather get 4th than win the FA Cup because it means we will be able to compete in the best club competition. It will challenge our existing players, and buy 1 or 2 special plaers.awest said:It is to the club because of the revenue but is the average blue bothered? if so why?
