before the Kiev game last week, the Europa League anthem played as the players were about to do their handshakes. That's when it hit me that, this is some small time shit. And we still bottled it.

I don't know if we're ready for CL football as a club, as a fanbase, but that's where we should want to be.

It is to the club because of the revenue but is the average blue bothered? if so why?

I'd rather get 4th than win the FA Cup because it means we will be able to compete in the best club competition. It will challenge our existing players, and buy 1 or 2 special plaers.

We need to progress as a club and the Champions League enables us to do that.

An FA Cup win would be a great day, and something to remember forever, but the floowig season we'd no be much better off as a club, and I am not talking finance, although that is a factor too

The CL is everything in terms of the clubs progression, but from my point of view a trophy is what counts and why we play the game. You don't see 4th place finish on our honours list.

If it was a choice between the FA Cup or 4th place, I would take the FA Cup.

But I agree CL football is important for the club to move forward long term.

The whole euro thing just isnt in our mentality. . Yet.
Personally not interested. Dull games and £40 me thinks!
Tho it would end the crap thurs/sunday rubbish!

Cant believe anyone would even ask this question!! We need champions league to progress as a club, who are we going to attract the best and become a global name without it?? This club with the right direction and management could become Europe's next Barcelona with our money and ambition!! We have to think big and yes it will take years but this is what we have to aim for!!

Surely if we got into the chumps league we'd be playing twice a week and consequently we'd be too tired. Scratches head.
