Just a couple of points , Is next year the last ever Champions League ? Why the rush , if we don`t make it next season , we go all for it the year after ! Surely better to become Winners first , let`s get that 1st Trophy under our belts and introduce a winning mentality into the Club .
As for Players leaving if we don`t make the magical 4 , well are they not under (very well paid) contracts ? and whose fault would it be if THEY fail to make it ?
A final point that really bugs me on here , just WHO are all these players who will come running to us if we finish (wow) Fourth ? To listen to some people on here , they seem convinced that if we do finish in the top 4 , we`ll start next season with Messi and Ronaldo up front ! Who are all these world beaters who will suddenly be banging down our doors ?
Do you not think if they are really that good , that they may pick Barca , Real , Inter etc ? After all those clubs have been in the Chimps League for years , so surely a better chance of progression with them ! And if they are already at those clubs , and leave to come to us , then the Chimps League is not that important to them and they are coming for the Cash !
Don`t think we`ve done too bad on the player recruitment front in the last couple of years , even without the Big One , so come on just who will come ?
