Is the transfer window starting to drive anyone else insane?

I don't know about you but I can feel my sanity slipping away minute by minute.

I have an unbreakable complusion to check Bluemoon, SSN, BBC, Setanta etc etc CONSTANTLY which is making it impossible to get anything done. First think I do when waking up is check the internet (WHY? I mean it's not like anything will have happened overnight!) and the last thing I do at night is check again. When I'm not in class and within wifi range I have to check at least every 10-15 minutes.... when I am outside of internet range (say on a train or the tube) I start getting antsy like some pathetic drug addict pining for his next fix.

Feb 2nd can't come soon enough imho, and god knows what I will be like in the summer. Still at least I will have a few months to recover before that happens...

me too mate and it's only gonna get worse as the window goes on..

and things can sometimes happen overnight, well kind of - the news that Parker had signed personal terms didn't break until nearly 10pm and the news of West Ham saying he wasn't for sale broke at 8 the following morning, so checking first thing in the morning isn't as daft as it sounds...

Yes, I'm constantly on the internet whilst I should be doing work. The amount of times I have nearly said what I am typing on here out loud is unreal!

Think I might have to go off with stress sooner, rather than later!

As a teacher it's normally bad enough with only being able to check things at lunch and when home - but i'm off ill this week with just the laptop for company

I'M GOING INSANE

But I do believe Hughes and the club are doing the right thing - if they want parker, bellamy etc then i trust there judgement but they're obviously not being held to randsom - which sets a very good marker in all future dealings; if we get ripped off now where will it end???

I have decided that I'm going to the pub after my last class of the day... I hear spoons has a "pound a pint" deal on at the moment.

My god - City has finally driven me to drink... ok maybe that's not entirely true. City has driven me to drink YET AGAIN!

The only thing that can keep my mind of the window is alcohol and The Wire... and I'm running out of episodes of The Wire.
