Its now the eve of the next year and also the start of the January sales. All this hype again for a new year which ends up being like an anti-climax any how. But for the Manchester City supporter its a little different as this time since finding out we have more wealth than any other premiership side put together, January will be the time, to find out what sort of influence they can do to our beloved team. The 1st of September was a snippet on what they can do when they signed Robiniho from Reál Madrid and made the players, the manager, the fans and the papers minds go to over drive, even the owners front man came out saying that he wants the very best and will not let anything stop in his way!.

Now is the time for the new era to begin, now is the time too really find out if what the owners intentions really are! is their bite as big as their bark? well the next 4 weeks will surly answer allot of peoples thoughts anyhow. Will the money be available to buy the best? Will the very best want to come to us? if not why? is it because the manager isn’t a big enough name? Is Mr Cook not really promoting Manchester City the right way?.

The pressure now on Mark Hughes and Garry Cook from the first of January will be immense, their jobs are defiantly on the line and they need to show the owners what they are capable of, if they don’t get it right then they both will go in my opinion. The signings we make hopefully should create stability and balance to the team, but the owners would like a little more they want to show the world that the very best want to player hear and that will be the hardest this to achieve!

Roll on January!

"Defiantly"? That's just the tip...

If Teh Grauniad ever melds with The Stun and The Papau New Guinea Courier you have a career.

Nice job mate. Enjoyed the read (no, really).
