is there a massive difference

ok, i'm no expert on this but i've done my share of research.

champagne is lovely but stupidly over-priced (only for major occassions)
cava is drier than prosecco so good for enjoying at leisure.
prosecco is very easy drinking and excellent for volume drinking / cocktails - as nigella calls it "prozacco".

hope that helps?

i'm only asking because on saturday night i was paying ridiculous prices to drink champagne cocktails now i'm sat at home drink cava cocktails and can't tell the difference

if you're mixing, cava or prosecco just as good for me.
try it with chambord and vodka with fresh raspberries.
