Is There Any Sleeping Medication I Can Take Long-Term?

Most of the sleeping pills like Night ol seem to be only for a few week period.. is there anything I can take long-term for insomnia to help me sleep normal hours?

oh and to buy it over the counter..
 
(meditation) The goal of meditation is to focus and quiet your mind and learn to turn off
I also find a good audio book or a radio show help to focus
 
Kalms - only herbal and they completely relax you. I took a few more than advised once and had a completely lost weekend didn't even wake up to go to the pub

I know!! They were that good, mums recommendation mums always know best. Mind you when I was a bit down after having my first baby she suggested I get some Sanatogen Tonic Wine and have a glass every morning. Well I did and felt so super thought I'd have another glass by the time the midwife came at 10.30am I was quite pissed. Mum claims she didn't know it was alcoholic and I certainly didn't!

I'm no expert but I dont think you should be looking to take anything long term. If its a sleep pattern problem then a few nights or maybe a week should help you get into that pattern. That is why all the ones you have tried so far as you mentioned say to only take for a week. You dont know now how you will be sleeping beyond that time.
