Is this false advertising?

Virgin Media gave it's customers free ESPN from 7th January to 4th February.

Would you expect it to be including 4th February as I expected?

I've just phoned Virgin Media and asked why it's been turned off already as it said 4th Feb so that should mean including 4th Feb, but they said no it meant it went off on the 4th Feb. So I said if it didn't include 4th Feb then you shouldn't have advertised it as that date. Ended up having a bit of an arguement but lost it apart from them upgrading my Broadband from 10mb to 20mb free of charge.

Pissed off now, as I can't go to the game because I'm not well, but thought I'd be able to watch it on tv instead. Looks like I was wrong!

Not if you're on Virgin Media no. I've just tried it again. Must mean for Sky customers only.

Haha! Yes you're right. I've just been down and checked again, I have freeview with Virgin Media and it's not showing, so I turned off the Virgin Media box onto normal tv channels and yes it's on!

Ta! I can go watch it on my tv afterall! :-)

I think it all depends on the t&c but you're right to me that would made you think it includes that day.
