Got sent this today by a rag (nice to see them resorting to pulling up articles nearly 20 years old, tick tock).
I actually found it pretty funny. But, although I remember Curle spoke his mind, did he really say this? Can't say I ever read 90 minutes magazine so I don't know if this has been shopped or subject to some elaboration at the time.
I mean saying Phelan is the best left back in the world, Rick Holden is the best winger in the world and Vonk is a world class centre back; sounds a bit OTT even for him!
