hart

kolarov
Fernando
fernandihno

subs: nasri, navas, edin, sagna, willy, beast, MDM ,milner

Yes, we have strengthened and are powerful enough to win the title.

It's not a foregone conclusion and Chelsea will be serious contenders.

Joe (don't know much about Willie)
Zab (with Baccary rotating)
Vinnie
Demi (with Mangala making a number of appearances)
Kola
Fernandinho
Yaya
Fernando
Samir
Kun
Merlin

no chance, will finish outside the top 4.........apparently.
We aren't even being mentioned when the pundits are spouting shite about what the big teams are buying or where they will finish.keep us out of the spotlight, suits me fine.keep the pressure on the others.

Have we signed Mangala? Everyone seems to think we have. Did I just miss the announcement?

Of course it is. Chelsea spend another 100 m pounds and will park the bus anyway, Liverpool bought a bunch of average players, Arsenal will go from 1st to 4th in February, United are changing 7-8 players form their starting XI, they will need 4-5 months to settle and they will loose to many points in that period.

it was good enough last season. It's been improved upon. IMO. So the answer has to be yes.
It's never easy winning the league and I'm sure we'll never make it easy but I think we'll win
it again this season. There jinxed for you all ;-)

yes of course it is, with our senior players reaching their peak of career coupled with some quality additions thus far and hopefully a couple more

the clubs goal should be the retention of our title something we have never been near achieving before

that should be our motivation with as well at least a consolidation in our champions league performance

Don't you know it's liverpools year.
If we can keep the spine of the squad fit for most part, bring Sergio off after 65 min in all matches, hopefully in the games where we struggled last yr we will have that 3 man midfield.hopefully stefan and alf will be back to their best.edin proves every one wrong again.bring it on.
I also want the players to say to themselves "we finished Last season on a high,we all had some disappointment in the wc.now let's show these shower of shite media that we are the best team in all the land and all the world.

I think we will but it won't be easy, looking at the other squads who'll be in and around - le arse havent really addressed their weaknesses, Chelsea are a central defender and goalscoring CF (I don't think Costa will do it) short, the rags haven't sorted their defence out at all and the dippers can fuck off all together.

I think this thread actually means "I'm not happy we haven't spunked another 100 million this transfer window"!!!

Jesus why isn't the squad good enough? Course it is. We will win the league this year of that I have every confidence.

I am very pleased with the squad, also I get miffed when fans think we will spend 100 mil every window just because our owner has the money.we need fine tuning every year, that way we wont have to overhaul the squad every 7 or so years.its so easy spending someone else's money on the transfer forum.
