I don't think Stan the Dogger Man would see beyond Didier Drogba. He certainly wouldn't choose a City African! But then who gives a flying shit what Stan thinks. Looking for the best always compares different kind of player. Drog was a striker pure and simple and he couldn't have done Yaya's job.

I always look at these questions from the point of view 'Who would I pick first for my team?" And without reservation I would pick the Yaya we had!

the big man in big games always turned up and without doubt manchester city greatest player from the new era when we will be looking back in 10 years time with a smile and a tear in the eyes some very big moments and yaya stamped his name in stone at manchester city and to think the amount of crap yaya took from the media about the money but look at football today and it was peanuts and a joke

don't really like to tag players as the best in the world but yaya just has to be given something special at this club he will never be forgotten so i think city are going to do the right thing and yaya needs to be around this club in some way and should be the first of many statue we should have around the club

For me it's Yaya without a doubt, the guy could do everything.
How many times did he drag us through games with his desire and skill.
He could play defence and excel he scored so many great goals and important ones too.
Yaya is one of the all time greats not just an African great.
