3 years down the line after rejecting us and i personally would still take him..Yes,perphaps paying the price for wanting too much so soon at Real and has become a bit part player there..He would add the much needed class & flair in our MF,what Merlin used to do,and arguably only him/Koke/Thiago would add sth different,with the latter two being long shots.At 24,whether he'd want to leave the comfort of Madrid is a different story though.
 
He just refused to sign a new RM contract and it seems will be leaving this summer. Some rumors say City have a pact made with him joining in the summer. He would be a great player to replace Silva.
