Unless the west stands up for democracy and freedoms fairly soon WW3 is inevitable. There will come a point where we will have to stand up to Russia, China, Iran, North Korea etc.

Not true.
Since the end of September an average of 750 Russians a day have died in the Ukraine war. You can probably add another 100 Ukrainians a day to that total meaning arround 850 a day have died.
As of 22nd January:
Since Oct 7th 25,105 Palestinians and 1,410 isrealis have died. over 107 days thats a total of 247 a day.

I don’t know if your figures for Russian soldiers are accurate, but anyway I should have been clearer: civilians are dying at a faster rate than any recent war.

I doubt it. About 50% more than the Ukrainian army's estimate of Russians killed or injured.

At first I posted that right-wing will blame it on Hamas.
