Istanbul CL Final chaos | City Matters statement (p 133)

I was overcharged €12.50 (£11). I challenged it at the time and was ignored. This was at the same time it was kicking off due to them serving people straightaway who walked to the side of the stand after we had queued for 90 minutes. Absolutely shambolic and a total disgrace.
Food was shit too.

My son gave his debit card at the stadium to buy 3 Pepsi’s the bloke handed the card to his mate, then said “sorry we only take cash”.

He rang his friend to bring the cash then asked for his card back. The bloke denied having it. Several people had seen what had happened and a huge row broke out. My sons friend went round the counter during the fracas and located the card slipped under some paper.

How many other people were scammed by these twats inside the stadium under UEFA jurisdiction?

The Club need to put out a survey to the fans who went and put all the issues encountered before UEFA for an explanation.

I went for some five euro water as i was struggling.
The woman took my card and went to the other side of the counter, then I spotted a bloke with it about to use it for someone else. Good job I kept my eye on the thieving twats.

I went to buy some water at the end of the match after most had left and it was on thr verge if closing, all they had left were those tiny 100ml yogurt pots of warm water in boxes. Asked for 4, guy serving quoted me 10 euros, said I'm paying in lira, he then tries charging me 500lira which was close to £20, threw 2 of them back at them in disgust but dehydration forced me to take 2. next guy who was taking the cash charged me 130 lira for the 2. Proof beyond any doubt they were just making the prices up and pocketing a lot of money. How such blatant extortion could be on display at a uefa event is baffling to me. Guarantee we'll never see that addressed by uefa.

Shocking! on the flight back to dalaman on Sunday free water was dished out by the airline , Uefa are a disgrace should of been free water for everyone.a basic human right being exploited

For contrast, I was paying 8 lira for a 1.5L bottle from local shops in istanbul which was about 20-30 pence. That same quantity from uefas official refreshment stands would have cost me around £80 (that's not a mistype)
