It’s hot

I was working outside for most of the day yesterday. I drank around 5 litres of fluids, and had factor 50 sun cream on.

Still felt a bit sh*t this morning when I woke up, but that's probably more to do with having a crap nights sleep.

There are loads of places in the world where this is the reality. People just get on with their lives.

It absolutely would be news in the UK because we don't have the infrastructure to deal with it.
Not when it’s 20 degrees away from its normal temperature, which was my point rather than it being -15 or whatever.

If it was guaranteed, like in Canada, Sweden and Russia, we’d all prepare accordingly. As it is, the mega cold happens so infrequently that it is not cost effective to be prepared.

The same goes for infrastructure over 35 degrees.

I'm loving it tbh, there's always a way to cool down and get refreshed. Rather this than rain and sleet and dank. I'm probably going to get heat stroke now Iv said that but I'm not into all the gloom and doom and scare mongering (As opposed to warning which is obvs required in this weather) thats going on at the moment. Im getting tanned, drinking tons of water, feeling happy, loving cold breezes.

Should that not read shut at 6:30am and open again at 22:30?

Will be like 33c by 10:30 this morning!
Er….it will be hotter outside than inside during the day, so windows should be shut. Inside cooled by opening widows at night and early morning.

Although last night it didn’t drop below 26 here, so opening the windows was still a bad idea last night!
