Loyalty's a noble attribute, but life goes on & ole Father Time waits for no one unfortunately. With Stones' horrendous injury record, I think he has to be realistic too.

City have given him everything, so it remains to be seen if the bell tolls for him that he defends his own interests & demands his contract be paid up in full, or if he seeks the best free transfer deal on offer & moves on with City's blessings.

As we've found, you can only be the world's most cultured CB if you're playing. Other than that, you're not a professional football player, you're a professional patient, hence why any chairman applying business logic will be wary of signing him. That's the reality mate...

wonder if we even go for him with the left side options we seem to have right now.. Marmoush/Baena interchange from LCM/LW would be great to see but with Doku & Savio both looking better over there....

Lol, but I bet if Musiala becomes available, you won’t have the same sentiment, since Musiala plays LCM/LW too ;)

dont think he will be, but think i prefer Baena y'know. More to his game you could turn him into a DLP more easily than Jamal to suit the balance in the CM but niether likely.

I’m sorry, I’m too biased. Musiala is my dream signing. Watching him destroy those low blocks would be a sight for sore eyes.

Why would we have gone for this guy? Sure, he’s probably a great player, but unnecessary. We need to save the spot for Wirtz in the summer. We absolutely have to get him, even for 200 million, and we’ll be set for the next 10 years.
