Loyalty's a noble attribute, but life goes on & ole Father Time waits for no one unfortunately. With Stones' horrendous injury record, I think he has to be realistic too.
City have given him everything, so it remains to be seen if the bell tolls for him that he defends his own interests & demands his contract be paid up in full, or if he seeks the best free transfer deal on offer & moves on with City's blessings.
As we've found, you can only be the world's most cultured CB if you're playing. Other than that, you're not a professional football player, you're a professional patient, hence why any chairman applying business logic will be wary of signing him. That's the reality mate...
