It’s Quiet 20 - What is the Wirtz that could happen?

Bags of talent and should be pretty cheap but just can’t see him pressing anyway near what Pep would require of him. Also rumours of an attitude problem.
Others have said that, and fine, its a valid point.

My hope would be that he is so young and would hope a chat with Pep and club could steer him on a path with City where he could fullfil that potential.

Because honestly, I just dont see players like Wirtz or Musiala coming here with whats rumoured. And Cherki is the only other mega talented attacking midfield player I know of.

And on that point, I dont see a point in buying a "very good" player, we need a "mega talent" player to clearly push the level of others in similar spots of the pitch (Foden, Bobb, Echeverri, Savio, Marmoush).

An example of a very good player is someone like Baena (who is a shithead I dont want but anyways) who some would like, but I watch him in highlights and stats and say "Okay, clearly quite good, but not truly that special". Id rather let players like Bobb or Echeverri play more than someone of only that level.

Isn't Cherki more of a winger than an 8/10?

Wow, that's a very good visual.

Pretty much lines up with what the eye test shows as well, Notice Grealish high on the y-axis (Deliver in build up) but more average on the x-axis (Deliver chances), which matches the eye test.

Kev being lower on the y-axis makes sense (but still above average), as most of his chances are not through build up, but extremely high on the x-axis because he is more a "big pass" creator.

Wirtz is around Olise level, but very good at both, but clearly not "aliens" like I've been saying Cherki is, although both are better finishers imo.

I can see you got it from Fbref, do you mind sharing how you made it/got it?
