Even if not Wirtz, MGW feels so uninspiring, id rather we promoted Mukasa.

If the market has nobody obvious like Wirtz or Cherki available, then we should go for lesser known players.

We definitely need a new midfielder of some kind in the summer, maybe 2.
 
I reckon the big Madrid clear out may be on its way
Ancelotti to start
Then a few players might decide it’s time to try something else

May impact the market with Alonso and wirtz
Then players like camavinga and rodrygo

What clear out? Beside Ancelotti and Valverde the whole team hasn’t been there for a long time. Rüdiger is expecting a 2 year extension soon. Their not gonna win the CL every season

You make very good and rational points, but Real aren't always rational.
 
If we cant get Wirtz as he wants to stay in Germany then we should be trying to get Baena and Cherki in imo. I could see Trincao in as well as Viana seemingly really believes in him and look at what some of the players who went to PSG have done? If Pep gets his mojo back then maybe he can make him to a top class level?
 
MGW is a great player and would do well here. Some of you are deluded, look at the season Forest are having.

Did people say we don’t want Rice because he was playing for West Ham.

KDB was a Chelsea reject ffs.

It’s not always about where the player is but the player themselves, MGW is a great player.

All they need is a new coach and new full backs but you are right. Camavinga has been stinking up the place for weeks now and the same goes for that overrated tchouameni. Could see both of them out.

MGW plays in a system which is literally the opposite of Pep‘s. It’s not that he isn’t a good player it’s just that his strengths are good for counter attacking team. If he wasn’t English he wouldn’t be a choice I think.

Throw 100m on table for camavinga , top mobile midfielder with bite and good passer too.

Frimpong ex academy prolific assister from right back. 40m

Chevalier for eddy 50m

Gunn for Ortega if he wants out.

Rodders Bobb and bah like new signings.

Mukasa heskey alleyne mfuni mcaidoo all top youth prospects knocking on the door to get game time.

Real standards are completely different to every other club, Perez expects a la liga or champions league every season. He also likes the a new shiny toy every season. They didn’t need Mbappe but Perez wanted him. Rodrygo will be gone, talks of others being sold. If they go out to Arsenal there will be a lot of changes starting with the manager.

Arsenal is one thing but being humiliated by Barca this season is worse.

I totally agree, anyone who's watched him can see he's class. My only concern is he plays counter attacking football at the moment so may struggle to adjust to parked busses

It feels like many posters ignore the development that these players had while they were here. They were not elite level on arrival, but became it, just as these new players may. Marmoush, for example, had league-leading stats in Germany; Khusanov the best U21 defender stats in Europe. These are not 'nothing players'.

I don't know what has happened to a section of our fanbase here. Enjoy the ride - no team leads the game forever - and a season decimated by injury is not a sound basis to slag off young players, nor to deride players spuriously linked by Twitter Romano wanabees.

There’s a video going round of Ancelotti giving him instructions last night and he looks baffled at them. Ancelotti won’t last much longer but I do wonder if Camavinga fancies a change.

I get your point but I’d assume our midfield is going to be majorly revamped in the Summer and that may be appealing to players.
