The problem we have is we still need someone if we can’t get Wirtz.We will lose out on Wirtz and we're going to end up spending £100m on MGW and another £80m on a player like Wharton or Morgan Rogers.
Probably why names like Rogers and MGW are floating around. Our interest might just be scouting and that’s been leaked, I imagine we scout hundreds of players.
I like Baena if we can’t get Wirtz. Also need to work out Foden/Marmoush into the team.

Foden needs to be loaned out for a season to Stockport so he can return as a reincarnation of Iniesta.The problem we have is we still need someone if we can’t get Wirtz.

It’s obvious we need a great player to replace KDB, Wirtz is a great player and will move to a bigger club. That’s why we are being linked (as well as we might have briefed people we want him)
Bayern reportedly interested because he’s the next big German talent. So again it’s just a obvious story.
Surprised we aren’t seeing much about Real to be honest.
I think the club will know if he’s not interested and start to look at other options.

I think Cherki would end up exactly like Cancelo. Marmoush said that when city were first interested in him, they were instantly analysing his behaviour. Cherki seems to have made a name for himself with his attitude, so he’s definitely not a Pep player.Be a bit more intelligent with the transfers.
For me MGW is not a City player. He is a good player, but like Grealish, he just isn't suited to Pep football in my opinion.
It's no coincidence he has thrives in a team with the lowest amount of possession in the league this season and at Wolves before that. All that space to run and play in suits him.
For me, and I am no DOF obviously, just a fan. However I would go and get Baena at his £50m release and Cherki at his £25m rumoured release.
~£75m and you have statistically two players who are in the top projectile creatively in Europe this season, and two players who would fit far better in a Pep team than MGW and Morgan Rogers.
Last one did alright for usLinked with the Benfica keeper.
