Here we go again.....

With the most important four matches of recent years coming up, once again the club is racked by internal strife.

The Robinho fiasco

The Bellamy fiasco

The negativity shown on here to the excellent RM.

Garry Cook's gaffs

SWP and "Superman's" loss of total interest and form.

Fans at each others throat on here.....We are all supposed to be rowing in the same direction ffs!

You couldn't make it up, Europa league here we come......

Calm down dear its just a diversion by the media

Stop reading the papers, don't listen to anything non-factual about City on the news and it's very easy to focus on the football. I have no idea what Bellamy fiasco you are referring to because I simply choose to ignore it. I saw the thread about a bust up with Marwood but didn't read it because it was a link to NotW.

As for football, yes Ireland did look very disinterested and passionless when he came on but I don't think the same can be said about Shauny. I haven't been his biggest fan this season and I'm not sure if he'll still be here next season but he looked to get on the ball, run at players and have a shot when he came on. I thought he did more than Johnson did.

As for the Mancini outers/haters/dislikers etc, there'll never be a time when 100% of our fan base is happy with the management, and after a loss you'll be luckyto get 75%.

To be fair there's probably not a fans forum anywhere without lots of disagreements and strife. And nothing we do or say in here has any effect upon the players or what happens on the pitch.

The Bellamy fiasco....I love the fella but he could create a fiasco out of a cornflakes packet.

The negativity towards RM........well it pisses me off when I see all this 'Mourinho is God' nonsense but largely any criticism aimed towards our bescarfed gaffer has been negativity towards negativity. I harboured genuine concerns for quite a while but he's convinced me lately that Bobby could well be the man to take us forward onto the European stage. Some still have their doubts however and I respect that.

Cook has been an embarrassment from day one and his corporate lingo and OTT boasts make me cringe. Rumours that his penis is shaped like the Nike swoosh have yet to be disproved.

Robinho....fuck him. At least we dealt with our flop and brought in a young English lad as replacement. Unlike the scum with Berbatov.

The only one of that list that genuinely worries me is the spectacular - and prolonged - loss of form for SWP and Superman. Because we need creativity desperately for our highly-pressurised run-in.
Against Spurs I fear we'll be looking solely towards AJ to create something from nothing and thats too much to expect from a young new signing no matter how good he is.

Wouldn't most of have taken that at the start of the season??? and this being a forum, its a place to argue and get points across, but dont you think we would all be robots if we all agreed the same, it will never happen A will always disagree with B. Simples

I keep seeing these ridiulously negative posts and then look straight over to the post count as I assume they are simply rags trying to wind things up!

I'm starting to become concerned at the dedication of some of these wind up merchants - one had 5000+ posts already!

I think your over reacting a bit mate. We always argue on here, and its not as bad as it seems.

One game and people think its the end of the world. If we win all our game we still get 4th. Lets justenjoy the ride and see where it takes us.

I aint getting on any other bus. I'm more than happy with my day trips. Some are delightful, some not. Rough and smooth. MCFC fans can handle the lot.

For me, the bottom line is this.

City are on an inexorable upward curve! We will get fourth. We will play Champs League football. We will win trophies (note the plural). We will love every minute of it.

BUT!

It all comes at a price.

We will be loathed and accused of buying trophies along with having no history. Jealousy and short sigtedness on the part of others. However, this will not be our biggest problem.

The biggest battle we face is changing the mentality of our fans. We must realise, no matter how much we may love SWP, Ireland and Bellers they WILL be replaced at some point. We must understand that whilst they have been brilliant for us to get us this far, they are NOT good enough for where we want to go. We must understand sometimes the truth hurts and we must be realistic about this. If we held onto players through sentiment, King Colin would still be turning out for us.

We must appreciate what players are doing for us now, but recognise we are moving on and a lot of them will not be coming with us on our amazing journey. You are either good enough or your not and some of our boys are currently showing they lack the character and ability to move up to that next level. They will in turn never achieve.

Ignore the media circus around us, it will not change and will only get worse. Focus on getting behind the team and roaring us onto the next level.

We fans have our part to play. We must stay behind the team, we must protect the team, in fact we must become part of the team, be the twelfth man if you permit the cliche.

And anyone who does not want to come with us - director, executive, manager, coach, player, fan, journalist - you know exactly where the door is - you won't be missed.

We are an irresistible and irrepressable force. Nothing will stop us. Nothing. Just exercise a little patience.

Forza Mancini, forza celesti.

Great post mate, that just about wraps this thread up.

Yes, BM is currently arguing a bit, but the positivity at the games is unlike anything I've ever seen. The players are always laughing and joking in training, and they are bitching at not playing, which is exactly what you want from your players. We WANT our players to be itching to get out there and show what they can do.

Forget the press, and look around you on matchday then draw your own conclusions.
