Winning the league again was the main objective, it's good that we can win other trophies as well as it breeds that mentality but the main aim should always be the league first.It’s a glorified Carabou cup, better opponents in it but it’s a cup competition, Chelsea finished 19 points behind us lost an FA Cup to Leicester and lost to Villa last weekend but suddenly winning this competition makes you the best in Europe does it fuck. If it was done in a league format we would be top and pissed it, I’ve never bought into it and never will. If we win it great it’s a trophy we’ve never won I’m pissed off at losing any final CL, Carabou even if City were in a tiddlywinks final and lost I’d be pissed off, but don’t for a second think this competition means more to me than winning stuff at home.

A couple of years ago nobody gave a toss about UEFA or this trophy, what changed?
All I'm upset about is the large number of idiots on here slating the team and manager last night after all they've done for us in a season where we were written off at Christmas, but finished up just 3 wins from an incredible quadruple and that in itself is a fantastic achievement, that too my knowledge no one has ever come as close to. If people can't recognise that they shouldn't be here.

Yes, absolutely disgusted at that on here last night, but what I was really ashamed of was the number of so called fans slagging the team and manager off, especially Sterling. Nobody else did any better than he did. Nobody thought Werner shouldn't have started for Chelsea and he has a far worse record than Sterling this season.I will tell you what is far worse: stating that the players did not give their all.
