I think being a Blue for so long has trained me to think like that. In real life I am an optimist, because of health issues I have had to be positive, so I always look for positivity in the most negative of events.

With City, I am the opposite, I am a eternal pessimist, because I have been let down so often, I come to expect to be let down. That makes winning sweeter and losing more bearable.

Nice post, I have similar issues and a similar view probably. Expect nothing and what you do get is so much better.

I was on edge all through Friday, all through Saturday, and then through the match. I knew almost as soon as we started playing we were up against it. There was something 'not there'.

Chelsea are a good defensive side, but there was nothing they did that surprised me. It seemed we fell to the same tactics as the last two times.

We just have to 'go again'. It's tempting to say the side needs major surgery, and we should sell three or four players. I think it's probably a bit more subtle than that, that we need some tweaks and some serious thoughts as to how to counter the sort of tactics Chelsea use.

We could be a lot worse off. We could, for example, be United. We have a good foundation to build on and I am hopeful for 21/22.

I think people are over reacting. This was a one off game against a very good, very defensive side that could have gone either way. That's it.

We were three wins off a historic quadruple and people want the side dismantling? Three wins. You couldn't make it up.

Loosing has just made me want it more next year? All we need is a couple of new signings to freshen it up. The players will certainly be all out for it!

In my opinion he changed it because Chelsea knew how we play. He knows that Tuchel is an excellent technician. The disappointing thing here is everyone's talking as though it's an exact science. Never has been and never will be, if it were that simple we'd all be rich from betting on certain results. It doesn't work that way.

Give yourself a chance and don’t change what has been working, why fuck about with a new line up that hasn’t been used all season in the biggest match in the clubs history, it just didn’t make sense.

I've been more upset and angrier, but never this disappointed.

You know what though, this is the game we love.

But fucking Chelsea? Two shots on target then parked the bus and battered KDB, Chelsea who got battered 5-2 by West Brom, got beat recently by Arsenal, Leicester and Villa in games that really mattered to them. No this is a missed opportunity that may not come again.

The problem is of course, we have to mull over it all Summer. If we had another game after it, the blow would be much softened. That and what happened to KDB and KUN bowing out like that. The Community shield win to start on the right foot and see where the new season takes us?…

Think your being a bit harsh on Chelsea mate . They should have put this game to bed in the first half but for shit finishing but apart from that they matched us in every department and shut us down . They are a very good team who will be a major threat for the league next season . I knew when they beat Madrid that he final was a genuine 50/50 game .
