It looks like another season

Thought he had a good game, Richards was lucky.

Countless free kicks in and around the box, numerous yellow cards to city players and how did Evra remain on the pitch?

Sorry his performance was exactly as I expected and will be repeated throughout the season by all the other criminals/refs.

And I'm not denying the better team on the day won the game but endless free kicks, yellow cards etc gives us a mountain to climb.

Lame thread

I don't know what footballing rules you abide by, but if you slide in with your studs showing, and hit the attacking player sending them sailing through the air, then it's a foul. Regardless of what team they play for.

If it was a league game Micah would've been sent off.

Well for starters a free kick inside the box would be a penalty, which there were none of. They basically spent most of the match around our box and coupled with the lazy tackling they were always going to get free kicks. How many times were we near enough to their box to win a free kick. The ref wasn't shit today, we were.

Not reread the full thread but the ref was fine and we got outplayed.

Fucks sake, here we go again with this bullshit excuse.

I'd best get some tin foil to put around my head this season.

Of corrupt/incompetent officials illustrated by Phil Dowd who is a disgrace.

Yet again the rags start the season off with a 20 point advantage in league with Sky which might as well just call itself rag TV, I've heard a strong rumour that Craig Meehan will be presenting Soccer Saturday as well.

sorry but to be honest Mancini and the team were the biggest problem today - cant keep blaming refs - we were hammered just accept ir
