Tony Evans is a Liverpool fan mate. If its the same tony Evans who contributes to talk sport.Niall Quinns Discopants said:What a fucking cheap wind up by some rag journo.

But the squad we had last year just needed some extra time bonding and it would have won the title in my opinion. Now that the team has bonded we can push on with these new players and try to win the league.mike channon´s windmill said:Was thinking, in net terms we haven´t actually improved and increased the squad that much. Savic for Boateng, Kun for Tevez , only Clichy gives extra cover. We need 2 players (mids probably) to be able to say we´ve significantly upgraded
Fair play to you pal. That's actually one of the most biased, blinkered, fawning pieces of steaming fetid monkey turd I have ever read on this forum. What next? Brian Kidd has the brightest and biggest football brain in gods universe? Barry to head up the united nationsLordeffingham said:If this article was one published 5 games before the end of the upcoming season and we were 12 points behind both the Rags and Chelski, I would have maybe given it a seconds thought, however it represents nothing more than an inept and very biased journalists best efforts to have one last laugh at City's expense, knowing full well that by the end of this year Mancini and City will almost certainly be untouchable.
At this point in time, with not much over 18 months in charge, Mancini has created close to, if not the best and most cohesive defensive unit in World football, who coincidentaly have between them along with the best defensive protector alive today, De jong, enough youth that they could easily remain together at the very top level for at least ten years.
City undoubtedly have the best Keeper our Club has seen since Trautman and certainly the best English keeper since Gordon Banks, but there would have been many of us who 12 months ago would not have put as much faith in the Birmingham loaned player as that Mancini did.
I along with many others must have cringed at times over just how focused Mancini was when picking Hart over Given in every game, it seemed almost unfair and unbearable on Given, but clearly Mancini proved in this single decision, that he was prepared to make very bold and strong decisions and ones that no amount of pressure would dissuade him from.
With regard to Balotelli, we know full well, because almost every other manager and pundit has already had their say, that if they had been his manager, he would have already have been sent packing, so with this in mind, again Mancini has clearly shown a strong determination and focus, and managed to maintain his control of a young kid who may well yet turn into the greatest attacking tallent in World Football, not as this article seems to suggest someone who can't handle big name players.
I'm proud that Mancini has grown in stature and has managed to attract big names, and yet has demonstrated that he is only to allow their ego's so much space and if they don't quickly abide by his rules they will soon be frozen out as with Bellamy, Petrov and Adebayor, which with hindsight now appear to have been correct decisions.
I posted very early in this mans reign that it was his humility and ability together that would eventually prove that he was the best prospective manager in World Football and nothing I have seen in the masses of almost constant criticism of him has made me change my view, Mancini is a strong but very fair man who will allow some minor discretion but never let anyone walk over him, a man who fits our Clubs hand like a glove in my humble opinion.
