One of my favourite away days that. Was meant to go to a wedding with the wife but sacked it off to go. Sun was shining and the away end was ramo. Excitement after the last few years of watching turid football to watching Elano,pertvo and Bianchi. What with the new owner and Sven in charge it really did feel like good times were on the horizon.

Was on holiday in France and got back to the hotel lobby computer to get the score. Went on BBC sport website to see a big picture of celebrating City players so I knew we’d won before the scores came up! Happy days!
