Italian CAS asks to see Manchester City accounts

Lol, they're public, can't see us being too bothered.

CAS are Swiss btw.

Presumably they've asked for the 17/18 figures which aren't public yet (and imagine aren't finalised either), but City will have had to submit something to UEFA and they want to see that.

They can ask for whatever they want, they were banned for non payment of debts, something none of the 3 clubs named have issues with.

However, the FFP Club Financial Control Body did not in its motivations that Milan’s losses were only part of the reason for barring them from the Europa League.

There were also severe doubts over owner Yonghong Li, who has since been ousted by U.S hedge fund Elliott Management.

Oh and it'll be 2011-14 they've asked for, that was when we fell foul of FFP.

Could be amusing as UEFA will probably end up having to explain to CAS why they changed the rules at the last minute to catch us out.

The ability to pay the Elliott loan was the main reason that UEFA acted against Milan. Now Elliott are in control of Li's shareholding, I assume that problem has gone away.

I'd imagine they'd want to compare our accounts to show whether they'd been treated equitably or not compared to us and PSG.

Which are also public, so they dont need to ask CAS for them.

Agree Milans issues have nothing to do with us.

CAS have annulled the ban and AC Milan will play in the Europa this season.

Yeah, UEFA probably won't be happy until Elliott have sold the club on to a more suitable owner though.

How the tables have turned. We were the ones that suffered for a few years, but them corrupt twats have buried themselves in their own shit, you couldn’t make it up. Always makes me think of khaldoons words a few years back ‘we’ll take a pinch’. He knew what was around the corner as he said that with the biggest of grins on his face.
