Italian restaurants

Haven't really tried any , but have a trawl through the customer reviews on some of the Italian restaurants in Manchester in this site ..... it might give you a pointer on which of them are okay ...... the four star ones are worth a look such as Don Giovannis or Gio Ristorante , both in town.

there's a very nice one called Sergios on Manchester Old Road in Bury

don't about the city centre other than Pizza Express and Est Est Est etc.

Cocotoo on Whitworth St if you want a decent menu, nice scenery and not a lot of fuss. has a reproduction on the ceiling vaults of the sistine chapel frescos which normally impresses people/girls. apparently took 3 years to complete.

Piccolos off cross st is good for a chain.

Don Gio on oxford road is pretty swish and decent menu, when it was over the road it was shit.

San Carlo behind kendals is probably best for atmosphere and fair menu.

Croma is nice which is Kinda Italian.

Croma just do pizza mainly, with just a couple of pasta dishes. But they do it bloody well.
Looks upmarket, and suppose it is, but amazingly, NOT with prices to match.
