The thing is, when they push up, Italy's defence is poor, and they will get chances again.

I expect mancini will have Italy press as much as possible for the first 10 of this half.

I really don’t understand Pickford going long all the time.

He doesn't have the distribution for it, but if he gives it the centre half's they have no outlet, Rice and Phillips are too close and Mount invisible, Italy's press is straight on top of them as well, how many times have Stones or Maguire gone backwards?
Kane seems to have the beating of Chiellini if Pickford can find him.

Mount was the only one under par, I didn't get it what is his role when we are attacking. Rice surprised me in a positive way, quite a few times took the ball out of our half, Phillips is also good but no options in this formation to pass the ball after recycling it. Defence looks great, but I hope Sudcancello doesn't plan to weather Italian attack for the full 45 minutes. Mount is the key, either he improves somehow by changing position or just playing better, or Henderson needs to come for him and push Phillips further up.
