Seems the sacking of the defense minister has escalated the already constant protests over the new extremely unpopular bill







seems bibi may have gone a step too far this time for his own countrymen and women

I'm looking for the condemnation of the rise in fascism in Israel from other world leaders. It seems very lacking.
You can't say that because it's equating them with nazi Germany which is AS. You also can't accuse them of being an apartheid state, because handily that is also AS.
 
I always thought the French were the leaders in disruptive protesting but the Israelis seem to be giving it a good go.

Airports and seaports shut, general strike, water cannons outside parliament - even McDonalds is closed!

We could learn a thing or two from this lot about protecting the independent judiciary from political overreach.

Agreed.

Ze Germans have shit down their public transport network as well today. Our protests are half arsed in comparison.
