I am going to stick my neck out here. We have two world class strikers already with a very promising Italian and an accomplished Bosnian, both of whom have said they are staying put. RVP´s dad said no so I am going to take things at face value and state that Van Persie will not be a City player.

He's also too old and injury prone. Add to that his love for Arsenal and I think he's far more likely to end up abroad.

His Dad with those quotes also ruled out Barca and Real Madrid. Strange for him to rule out the 2 biggest clubs in the world though dont you think? It gives me the reason to believe those quotes aren't all that they seem?

I totally agree with your sentiments towards the existing strikers however i believe one of them will leave this summer unfortunately.

If its Dzeko that leaves then we will have Aguero, Balotelli and Tevez. Only Aguero can be relied upon to consistently play.
