I have a gut feeling Cavani will go to Chelsea. Let's just hope he comes to us. He should do afterall as we have the better team but I worry about the draw of the capital.

Chelsea dropping out of Hulk deal worries me, I was going they'd sign him and then maybe shut shop. Going for Cavani or RVP is bad news, I reckon they will be a bigger threat than United.

With the new tv deal we must push all out for Cavani/RVP. Sell Dzeko to part fund it and then go all out for Bale and Martinez. If we get those 3 I feel we could compete as equals with any team in the world and get right at Barca/Real.

Love being a City fan, we've come a long, long way. Thanks Mansour, I will give you my blue soul when I die.

I heard a rumour 2/3 weeks ago that Torres wanted out of Chelsea and that they were looking to swap with Tevez!

But Tolmie did say when I pm'd him with the info that Torres burnt his bridges last time we went for him!

But Tolmie did say when I pm'd him with the info that Torres burnt his bridges last time we went for him!

Would love it if we got Torres,more suited to our style of football.

Fair enough mate. Cheers for posting. For what it's worth, seeing Torres and Silva link up last night was a joy to watch irrespective of who the opposition were. I'd hate Tevez to go to Chelsea though, would seriously strengthen them

I'm confused by this (it's easily done). If we get RVP and Cavani, as seems to be the general assumption, we'll have 8 strikers on our books + Guidetti.

We won't be able to get a decent price for any of our players as other clubs will know we will be desperate to unload 4 strikers. They already know we are desperate to offload 2 of them.

I don't think the Chelski style has ever suited Torres. In saying that I think our close passing game is much more suited to Torres.

My god it would be amazing to have him playing alongside Silva. They would be a brilliant combination.
