Everyone seems to be second guessing our transfer's dealings. Could be a smokescreen for a superstar signing. Or we could be deciding to sign for the future only. Our starting XI is good enough to win the league again. Last seasons experience is key for us as well as the rest.

If Rodwell was bought as backup to Yaya then I am worried about our transfer strategy.

That would be seriously misguided, to expect 'one for the future' to fill Yaya's shoes.

Which is why I cannot see us failing to buy a good midfielder who can at least hold the fort until Yaya is back. Barry-Nige-Milner in midfield for six weeks isn't something I want to see... ever.
