Mendes is clearly planting the seed of a back up option if we don't sign Haaland.

Honestly, I would rather go back for Kane if that was the case, Felix has never even scored 10 goals in a season in Spain, and we want to bring him to a much more physical league.

Part of the myth of Felix’s semi failure there is always to blame Simeone’s style, but it was under him that Griezmann (who is a very similar player to the Portuguese) became a worldclass talent. I think even Griezmann would do better in the PL physicality aside...
