Only Haaland changes that, would be securing our future for many more years.
Which is why we will be more serious this summer than we even were with Kane last summer or going by what the player himself said, when we offered for Lukaku the previous summer more than what Chelsea paid. It’s an entirely different scenario and prospect (release clause included in the equation).

If we are replacing the older players, I presume Haaland Junior can play right back.

............ Ederson ...........
Haaland Stones Dias Cancelo
.. Bernardo Rodri Grealish ..
Palmer ... Alverez ... Foden

I have nothing to back this up (thats why I feel at home on here) and it's just a feeling in my water, but.... I think Pep will shake it up again next season. When teams were expecting us to go again with 3 up top after winning the league, Pep dumped centre forwards (and wingers for a time) and went full on midfield blitzkreig. Next season, I wouldn't put it past him going with 2 forwards and changes in midfield with Grealish playing in the role he was bought for. It would throw them a curveball.

Please look around and see where the club is. We’re not ending up with a B-list forward. It’s likely we go without signing one (again) than going down the list. Also I’m curious about what the “Haaland baggage” is? The so-called “circus” that people talk here when absolutely nothing concrete happened except entirely made up stories from the Spanish media?

His agent is the circus. He and Pep have history and frankly the guy seems a total prick.

They exchanged a couple of public statements when Raiola was serving as a mouthpiece for his client then. Him and Ferguson have gone at it much worse. Raiola has publicly praised Pep a few times since that incident. He is no worse than the vast majority of agents (certainly no worse than Jorge Mendes whom we constantly deal with). And him and Txiki have a very good personal relationship since the Barcelona days (this may be hard for some people to reconcile)

My opinion of Riola is obviously different from yours. He’s the only agent i’ve ever really heard of and certainly the only one I could pick out of a line up. Other than Kia Joorabchian. I’m aware of Mendes, but have never known an agent and more importantly his fees be as big a story as the actual transfer.

The way we are scrutinised and the way the other teams go after us off the field I personally wouldn’t want any deals in the mould of the Pogba one.

The club certainly isn’t going to do anything that our dozens of lawyers don’t sign on to… with regards to anything
