Haha! Seems like a proper City thing to do in fairness.
Keep us dangling at the prospect of signing a superstar only to bring in somebody a couple of levels down instead.
The daft thing is the business model rarely lets us down so for me what will be will be. I’m sure we will struggle on to more silverware whichever option we finally commit to.

The lineups and possiblities with Felix will have FPL lineups a nightmare.. Every single player in the front 6 can lpay at least 3+ roles except Mahrez.

Ederson + 2CBs + Rodri and the rest just moving like the Red Arrows Dogfighting.

Felix is a perfectly fine second choice if the Haaland deal doesn't happen. Vlahovic won't wait forever to make his decision and so we need other backups. F9 is tried and tested in our team.

Swap for Gabby?

I would miss him but he’s our 3rd choice RW and doesn’t want to play Striker.

Joao Felix has the technical and physical ability to play the false 9 role perfectly and he can play off a striker or on the wings if Haaland joins.

Simeone would love Jesus and he’d get to lead the line for a massive club competing in the CL every season which is as good as it gets away from City.
Got to agree, love Gabby but I think this just fits and makes sense, he’d be a perfect rotational player who would be more in the mould of Merlin than Aguero, however, he’d cause chaos in our system

I can’t see why we couldn’t sign both Haaland and Felix, do the Sterling, DeJong swap with Barca so Frenkie replaces Fernandinho, bring in Felix as a sterling replacement, Haaland as the Ferran replacement and sign a left back to replace Mendy.
