It is not yet closed, but City pays Julian's clause and leaves him in River until June. The possibility is being negotiated that if River continues in the Cup, Julian will stay until October

Basically he's gonna be at City, just now or then. Not loaned to the CFG.

It seems there are a lot of people on here willing to sell Jesus who has scored a goal every 2.86 a game and replace him with a player in Joao Felix who scores every 4.66 a game. I wish I could see the logic in this

That's slightly different I'd say. That's a loan without any risk.

Not sure why we would sign him now and not in 6 months, if we are going to loan him out anyway. He has a release clause so not like his value would go up. Just seems like a huge unnecessary risk to me, not worth the 1.5m price cut we would get. Would also only delay his integration to a new country, league & club.

But I guess we will find out soon:)

Probably people think Jesus should have a far better strike rate in our team, than he does. Maybe Felix in our team will score at a much better rate? Who knows. One thing for sure is that Gabby has not progressed as we thought he would.
