They do and they are.

They aren’t 0% accurate on reporting information though.

Simply disregarding Bild as a source because some other information hasn’t turned out to be true seems a little naïve to me.

We have no idea what the clause actually is, but it may or may not be close to what they have reported.

Mason Mount joining City would really piss on Chelsea fans. Would take a huge chunk of money to sign him though. We were linked in Autumn and again recently but I think once Chelsea get the ok to negotiate contracts again, I think he signs for them. Not sure we really need him right now but he would be right up there as the type of player we would be interested in.

The information I still have is that at the end of last year an agreement was reached with him and Bayern. That is not my information originally, it’s a big reporter in Brazil that people have quotes in the recent Jesus news, and I talked with someone from his formative club via WhatsApp who told me that. Remember the player then was the big new star discovered by Tite in the Brazilian national team.Now you’re telling me I needed to have spelled out to you that there was still half a season to take place and anything could happen? Give me a break.

So what if there is a release clause, it doesn't mean a thing other than we get a shit load of cash if, and it's a big if, things don't work out. In fact I'd be happier if some others had one, Bernardo for instance - if he had really wanted out last year it would have been nice to have a 100m release clause to provide funds to replace him. Thankfully he is still with us and seems in a happier place. I get sick to death of these teams like the Italian ones and now Barca wanting our players for less than market value and then wanting the fees to be paid on the drip.

let's just enjoy a world class striker at 21 years old - it's a big moment for our club. I can't wait to watch him.
 
I wouldn't be so sure Madrid, or anyone would pay 180m+ euros in 3 years time. and if they did, great, we'll get another striker.

But you can't deride the media and then also claim amnesty is my point.

To be fair I think Tolmie said it was bullshit they knew that there definitely was a release clause.

Unless they have seen the contract they are guessing. It may be an educated guess based on information from other clubs but a guess nonetheless.

I am not deriding the Portuguese media, I am pointing out every time something comes out about Nunes that it’s always from there, and they have a history. I also just reminded in his thread that the Portuguese season is effectively over, so the rumour mill will just start pilling up even more these “news” as they need to fill pages in papers and websites and minutes on tv. That’s all. Could the Portuguese media finally get one right? Anything is possible…
