It's Quiet 17 - Glory Thread

In a football forum you should give someone the same respect as in any part of society. It’s disrespectful to talk down to someone that knows more about a subject than you, as a physics and math teacher I ”know” quite a few things about the universe, and I feel disrespected if someone talks down on me when I discuss that subject.
Exactly. One thing we should all be brought up with and show is respect towards and human being. Treat people how you'd like to be treated. Life would be much more easier if today's society was that way. But unfortunately we still have bellends.

I would like to hope so, but Barca need to show direct cash on the books, which is why they would not be able to deal directly with City on any straight forward swap.

They need Chelsea, PSG or United to pony up.

There’s nothing to stop City and Barca effectively swapping players but treat them as individual cash transactions. City sign FDJ for say €70m and Barca sign Bernardo for €100m. Effectively it’s FDJ plus €30m but they’re 2 different deals.

The fact we haven’t been linked with FDJ says we’re not interested either because of wages or he may have burned bridges when he turned us down for Barca.

Veratti is a busy **** and excellent at ball retention - but he's not exactly young & seems to get injured a fair bit.

Couldn't it just be two separate sales, like Dias and Ottamendi? City decide to buy de Jong for say £85m, and Barca decide to spend the £85m on Bernardo. Both have the full sale value on their books this year and the outgoing spread over the contract.

I'd rather keep Bernardo than either of the options, but if his heart is set on going, we cannot let him leave without a replacement sewn up

Cancelo/Danilo a good example of that btw. Juve are masters at those transactions

Can someone help me find the video summary of our squad going into the season that was posted this week

West Ham are happy at the moment playing dead and we are playing in slow motion but with 10/15mins to go they might actually have a go that will open it up for Haaland foden and Grealish
