Id agree but there's a community of Portuguese players there, Will be offered more than he's ever earnt and we'll earn in England and he could head back home to Portugal in a few years.

I do think he's a competitive guy and I'd assume the title last year has got him fired up about winning more.

If Pep makes it clear he's not wanted though will he just go or dig his heels in.

Fair enough, yeah. I don't think Pep would make him feel unwanted, not one season in. The summer is long, a lot can happen. Just earlier today we signed bruno guimaraes, and then 3 hours later we didn't. And that was just one day!

Nunes would need to want to leave first. I believe he will want to prove himself.

He will double his wage at least out there.

Not sure he would want that, too young for saudi, at a top club where he can win things, will be on good wages etc. Can't see him leaving and I think he has more to offer than many expect.

Nunes is a really good player. I think many of you are too quick to judge. This is probably recency bias because of Kalvin.

Nunes hasn’t really been given a chance to impress. Not his fault that he was purchased in the same window as Kovacic, who’s more refined and fit better stylistically with our play style last season.

The majority of our midfield signings struggle in the first season, and they generally get more opportunity to impress than Nunes has. I think Nunes will really impress you lot next season if given a run of games.

Would be a big mistake to sell him right now in my opinion, unless we’re replacing him with Frenkie. Who is extremely similar but better.
