With txiki looking for a right winger and in light of Arda Güler’s €17m release clause coming out today, could he be a good option? We have been said to have had interest before, an 18 year old wonder kid who plays both RW & CAM, could potentially be a great Bernardo replacement. In the Turkish league this season, he has had 6 G & 7 A all comps.
Good point. Across the season, we only conceded 2+ goals in 6 league games, and I don't think Dias started in any of those.
He’s coming up to 200 career appearances. At 30 YO’s, he might be at a point in his career where he’d prefer to be a cup goalkeeper (with occasional European / league appearances where possible), if it means he can stock up some winners medals and memories. If I were him, I know I’d rather be doing that than telling the grandkids I battled for a European spot (depending on which teams are interested).Problem is how do you keep two absolute top keepers happy
Things can change very quickly though. Easy to take for granted that we got through most competitions. We could have just as easily been knocked out by Southampton, beaten in the FA Cup 3rd round and been fighting for qualification in the CL which would have meant Ederson plays 99% of the games and Ortega is on the bench.Same as this year because he’s happy.
I think "concerning" is a tad over the top. He may just not be up to it. This happens now and again. Replaceable. We aren't a club that just gives up on players easily. So if this is true, it means Pep has concluded that he probably doesn't have the qualities to succeed under him. That is concerning.

It's the exact same news being recycled over & over for the last two months. We aren't a club that just gives up on players easily. So if this is true, it means Pep has concluded that he probably doesn't have the qualities to succeed under him. That is concerning.
Good shout. Love the both of themWho are the RW options? Chiesa? Chukweze?
Don’t think we will ever see Alvarez out wide personally. I actually don’t think he has the game to play there either but let’s see.I could see us signing 1 RW if Palmer stays or 2 including a young prospect if he goes. Alvarez will play out wide in my opinion as Foden looks destined for the middle.
