I feel like we should make the decision for Gundo now, he has had the opportunity to sign and if he isn't sure what to do we should decide for him we want players that want to be here no wavering.

Depends whether it’s posturing for a salary increase from West Ham.Phillips is insistent on staying though. We aren’t able to force him.

anyone else think that west ham would rather sell to us than arsenal anyway? We also have more players to benefit west ham? If we are loaning Palmer out it would be a cracking move for Cole? Borges as well?

we were wanting the Kovacic deal done first before announcing Gundo leaves imo.
The way I see it is if gundo wanted to stay at city as his first choice the contract would be finalised by now. It’s pretty obvious to me he is waiting to see if Barcelona can register him. Where it gets a bit messy is that if Barca can’t and we have moved on than arsenal becomes a real option for him. Obviously gundo going to arsenal would be shite.
Personally I hope he goes to Barca and we get a replacement in. Best scenario for all imo

I think if City made it clear to Phillips it isn’t working out and he’d be better off at WHU, he’d prob go.Depends whether it’s posturing for a salary increase from West Ham.

They probably would, and they would like Phillips in a deal also if we are offering the same add ons as Arsenal about winning trophies who has more chance to achieve them we or Arsenal.anyone else think that west ham would rather sell to us than arsenal anyway? i still think we need Rice in mate as then in no offers come in for Bernardo he can play wide again? If we ended up with Rice, Kovacic and Gvardiol in and Bernardo stays then i think thats us done.

Nah....he is an addition not a replacement. We were lucky with injuries this season. And Pep and the club know it. And that's even if pretend Phillips isn't shit.

I think we'd be more than happy having him as another option if Gundo and Bernie stay and you have to consider De Bruyne's injury which could take a while to recover from. We need him even without players leaving.

Rice would be a replacement, that's why I think we're treading water on this one. We'll move if Gundo or Bernie go but otherwise we don't really have a spot for him and for that outlay there needs to be one.
