Didnt Sane miss out on german squad for world cup while at city
That was the trigger to go back to germany so that didnt happen again

If you believe the alleged rumours, the bayern hierarchy put pressure on the German nationall team manager ( cant remember his name, always pickin his conk), to leave out Sane and force him back to Germany, probably a load of bollox mind

I've said this before but I think it's worth another mention. Too many people getting a tad nostalgic over this guy. Great player when he was here, no guarantee it'll be like that 2nd time around.
 
I just can’t believe that given how well we plan, how the club is run and the calibre of people like Khaldoon that we will be in the mess that the tabloids would like to portray.

I’m certain there will be signings lined up depending on who leaves and we’ll move quickly for each once the need arises through a departure. I just cannot see how they’d leave Pep in the shit if four or five first teamers leave.

Really? We miss out on key targets every year and tend not to have a back up plan.

It's served us well in many respects but the acquisition-side of our transfer market activity has plenty of holes in it.
 
I am not Pep but even I can see..

We need a new DM as

1. Kalvin isn't going to magically hack it
2. We have no Gundo to deputize for Rodri this year
3. Without Rodri the team doesn't look like itself
4. Rodri isn't going to be able to play 80 games this year

Wish Txiki would look up Valverde..

I don't know what's harder.. City having a good transfer window or actually rescuing the Kobayashi Maru!

So who are the players that we end up signing, if not the back up plan?

History tells us that 99% of the time, the player that we "miss out on" goes onto achieve fuck all and the so called back up option e.g. Dias ends up being critical part of the team.
