Long term id assume the plan is to go after someone like Wirtz but if KDB and Bernado left we would try and supplement that loss with the likes of Olmo, Eze or Olise this summer.

Replacing Alvarez would be difficult, I think he is very underrated by many and finding the same profile would be hard, I really like Dovbyk at Girona (nice coincidence) as a really honest, hard working forward, capable of scoring and creating and is at the right age where he could really kick on.

I'd expect City to snap their hands off if any of those offers were made.

Anyone who wants to leave City is welcome to go for half those amounts as far as I'm concerned. The three you've mentioned have done their bit for us and have been exceotionally well paid by the club.

I'm not that averse to Kev moving on providing Saudi do offer us silly money. He still has moments of sublime quality but also a lot of non existent performances in his older age. We've had his best years and he's a fucking legend of the highest order, whatever happens this summer. I think City will accept a huge offer, so it's in Kevin's court now

Yeah i agree that's ridiculous money, but it ain't as if he's doing badly now, it might depend on how Kev feels about winning!

We are going for 5 in a row and the CL again, they're big carrots and also that both his CL finals have been a bit of a mare for him personally, so does he want one last crack at that too?

I think/hope we'll give him another year on his deal, then he'll play a blinder next season, have more medals in his pocket and we sell him next summer.

I don't think any of them will leave this year.
I just can't see many of the squad leaving tbh, sporting wise, why would they?!

If we added Guimaraes, Savio and Couto to the squad, we'd have good depth and balance, they would just make us better and we'd be ready to go for the top prizes again.

I really think the thought of going for 5 in a row and getting back to the CL final, which are both more than do-able, will be a big motivator for these players thinking of leaving.

He said similar when he came to City, that his wages were multiplied 4 times and asked who wouldn't take it. Worth every penny we paid though.
